Irina is a student of Political Science at Tbilisi State University, with Mass Communication as her minor. She takes particular interest in regional politics and European studies, and strongly believes that Georgia’s future is depends significantly on its integration into the European Union. For this reason she is always promoting the European Union in her region, organising campaigns, participating in various projects and making the most of every opportunity to spread European values. Irina considers being a Young European Ambassador to be another golden opportunity to make European values more prominent in Georgia.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
