Giorgi holds a Bachelor of International Relations from Ilia State University, and he held a scholarship from The Fund for American Studies. He graduated from the American Institute on Political and Economic Systems in Prague, Czech Republic with the partnership of Univerzita Karlova v Praze (Charles University in Prague). Since 2015 he has been doing voluntary work for various youth NGOs, he was the European Voluntary Service EVS (Now ESC) Coordinator’s Assistant at Children and Youth National Center and a staff member at Silk Road Forum which connects East and West. He was the organiser of Global Entrepreneurship Week Georgia in 2018 and 2019. He was also participating in several Erasmus+ Youth Exchange and Training Courses in Europe and Partnership countries which were fully funded by Erasmus. As a Young European Ambassador, he attended high-level conferences at the European Commission, in Brussels, Belgium. At the World Youth Forum, held in Sharm-El-Sheikh, he was one of the representatives of Georgia among the youth from all over the world. In 2021 he was selected as a finalist by the US Department of State – Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs for the Study of United States Institutes (SUSI) exchange programme.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
