YEAs in Georgia: Together We Achieve More


YEA Temo Khojashvili organised the first event of the activity “Together We Achieve More“ on 16 April. The activity is a month long project for 10 public schools in Tbilisi which aims at informing participants about the EU, the EU-Georgia relations and the EaP initiative.


10 schools from Tbilisi were selected by their applications and were invited at the opening event. YEAs in Georgia delivered info-sessions about the European Union, the EaP and the EU-funded opportunities for Georgian youth. One YEA were assigned to the each team of the school who will be working closely and mentor their activities during the month of May. As a next step, the participants school teams are working on their own activities based to promote the EU-Georgia relations among their mates to celebrate the Europe Day in May. The final event will gather the teams and YEAs again to sum up the activities and nominate the winners with the most and creative activities in their schools.

The event had the following results: 10 team of 60 students from 10 schools from Tbilisi attended the opening event and learned about the EU and the EU-Georgia relations and 10 teams have started working in their schools to raise awareness among young people about the EU and the common values.
