To mark the World Environment Day, YEAs organised an activity with high school students in Ashtarak. YEAs presented environmental issues, human ecological footprint and other concepts, how the EU and Armenia cooperate towards environmental issues. Then participants were divided into groups and worked to present their ideas on the solutions of existing environmental issues in the world. Best ideas were rewarded by YEAs with symbolic prizes. YEAs themselves came up with their ideas and presented them with a special drawing. As a result of the event, more than 50 local youth informed about environmental issues; learnt about EU and EU-Armenia cooperation in the sphere; got engaged in brainstorming on existing issues and how to act to solve them.
