Ukraine: Training on Russian propaganda in Poltava region

On 30-31 March, a two-day online training on ‘Russian propaganda in Poltava region: detection, debunking, protection’ will be held by the NGO Internews Ukraine. The activity is organised as part of the project ‘EU activities in the field of regional information and cultural diplomacy 2022-2023’, funded by the EU Delegation to Ukraine. 

Journalists, local activists and anyone interested in countering Russian propaganda are invited to participate.

Participants will learn what narratives and channels Russian propaganda uses to spread fakes in the Poltava region, how the enemy spreads panic about a possible second offensive, and what the Kremlin propaganda says about the so-called “special military operation”. They will also learn the most effective methods of debunking Russian fakes.

Participation in the training is free of charge.

To take part, please complete the registration form by 29 March. Candidates will be selected on a competitive basis.
