U-LEAD with Europe invites applications for training programme for Ukrainian municipalities

The EU-funded ‘U-LEAD with Europe’ Programme has announced a call for participation in the training programme ‘Steps for Project Management Specialists – 2023’ for Municipality project teams .

The support programme will run from September to November 2023.

The ‘Steps for Project Management Specialists’ programme is an opportunity for those who want to improve their knowledge and skills in project management, get acquainted with the latest approaches and methodology for developing project proposals, and analyse key mistakes that arise in the process of project preparation and implementation. As part of the training programme, you will be able to develop your project idea into a full-fledged project proposal with the support of experts.

Municipality project teams consisting of three people can participate in the programme:

– a local government official responsible for project management in the municipality (mandatory);

– a representative of a municipal institution;

– a representative of a non-governmental organisation.

One municipality can submit from one to three project ideas for selection, but a project team with one project idea will be selected. A separate application form should be submitted for each project idea.

The deadline for application is 23 August.

An information meeting for potential participants is scheduled for 11 August, 2023, 10:00 am.

The Ukraine – Local Empowerment, Accountability and Development Programme, in short ‘U-LEAD with Europe’, is a partnership of the Ukrainian government and the European Union and its member states Germany, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Estonia and Slovenia to support the establishment of a multi-level governance that is transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of the population of Ukraine.
