Georgia: EU and UNDP training for packaging companies

The European Union (EU) and UNDP, in partnership with PMAG Packaging Cluster, are inviting packaging companies in Georgia to take part in a workshop on packaging technology and circular economy.

The four-day online training on different packaging materials (paper, plastic, metal, and glass) and management in the packaging sector will be delivered by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).

The training takes place from 5-8 October 2021 via the Zoom platform.

The initiative is part of a broader EU-funded programme ‘The Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia’ implemented by the UN agencies in cooperation with private companies and business associations. With an overall budget of up to US$6 million, the initiative assists Georgian entrepreneurs to improve the legal environment and access to finance and strengthen ties with the EU.
