EU-funded grants up to €1,500 for young entrepreneurs in Moldova

The EU Delegation to Moldova invites young entrepreneurs who are looking to develop their business idea to take part in a grant competition. The call is launched by the EU-funded  Youth4Entrepreneurship Centre, Moldova.

The competition aims to stimulate entrepreneurship among young people, strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, and increase the number of active enterprises and jobs, especially in rural areas.

The maximum grant is €1,500. The funding can be spent on the purchase of work equipment (machinery, tools, furniture, etc.) and intangible assets (quality certificates, licences and trademarks, copyrights, security rights and software).

To enter the competition, the entrepreneur must be between 18 and 40 years old; own or intend to start a business within one month of approval of the business plan; and have a certificate of participation in previous Youth4Entrepreneurship training and mentoring phases or other entrepreneurship training projects.

The deadline for applications is 10 May.
