On 18 July, representatives of 16 EU Member States, Israel and Switzerland, led by the EU Delegation to Ukraine, visited Vinnytsia.

During this visit of solidarity, they condemned the Russian missile attack on the city on 14 July, which killed 24 civilians, including three children, and injured more than 200. Some 70 were hospitalised, including four children.

The guests met the Mayor of Vinnytsia, Serhiy Morhunov, and laid flowers in honour of the civilian victims of the Russian aggression at the main site of the missile attack. They expressed their support and deep sympathy for those who lost their loved ones and the victims.
