Ukraine: EU helps to set up free hotline for parents

A unique and free hotline for parent support after childbirth has been launched in Ukraine.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, young parents and other family members will be able to get contactless advice in such areas as recovery after childbirth, gynecology and endocrinology, breastfeeding, adjustment of the child’s sleeping schedule, and the child’s first documents and social benefits. They will be also provided with free psychological support.
The hotline number is 0 800 500 313.

The initiative was carried out by the NGO Pregnancy and Maternity Support Club Lada within the project EU4Civil Society Sustainability in Ukraine’, implemented by Isar Ednannia in partnership with the European Union.
