Project presents first online assessment tool in vocational education in Azerbaijan

The EU-funded ‘VET for the Future’ project has developed the first online assessment tool for vocational education and training (VET) in Azerbaijan. The assessment tool performs online evaluation of the knowledge of students studying in VET areas.

The platform was developed as part of the project’s activities to support inclusive education and apply innovative approaches in VET.

The assessment tool performs an online evaluation of students’ knowledge in VET, and can be used wherever the student has internet access, immediately showing the candidate’s results on screen.

The assessment process was tested for the first time by the students of the ‘chef’ faculty at the Baku State VET Centre for Culture and Crafts, and the Baku State VET Centre for Tourism and Social Services. A total of 31 people of all abilities participated in the exam.

The platform will be able to collect information about students’ participation, progress, results, as well as overall performance challenges in the form of reports.
