People in Need: call for new civil society organisations and informal initiative groups from Armenia, Georgia and Moldova

The Czech NGO ‘People in Need’ in Armenia, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova is launching a call for participation in the ‘Civil society actors as drivers of change in South Caucasus and Moldova’ project, funded by the European Union.

New civil society organisations (registered within the past three years), informal initiative groups or social movements are eligible to apply if they aim to mobilise people in their communities to influence real positive change or to raise important issues that may not yet be widely understood or discussed in society, and propose solutions.

People in Need will assist the finalists in developing their strategy, establishing or improving connections with supporters and volunteers, networking with peers and partners locally and abroad, and engaging with the private sector. The successful participants will also get an opportunity to take part in trainings, coaching, mentoring, consultations, study visits, fellowships and get support for research and building thematic expertise.

In July-August 2021, every participant that passes the first stage of the programme will be able to apply for up to €10,000 of internal funding linked to their strategic plans.

People in Need aims to select seven participants in each country – Armenia, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova.

For applicants from Georgia and Moldova the deadline is 7 April. For applicants from Armenia the deadline is 12 April.
