At the same time, some Russian and pro-Russian Telegram channels become sources of surveillance and manipulation of information and propaganda, especially on temporarily occupied territories.

The latest YouTube video from the “InfoBridge” series features practical security tips on how to use Telegram safely.

This project, launched by the EU-funded programme EU NEIGHBOURS EAST and 24 TV Ukraine, aims to help the most vulnerable individuals become more resilient to Russian disinformation, and to maintain a connection with the Ukrainian information space. From February to June, the project will release five episodes on the most relevant platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.

The first episode, released in February, focused on different VPN services, explaining the main principles of their work, and how to select and install them on personal devices.
