This week, the European Delegation to Ukraine is organising a series of events to celebrate Europe Day. Due to quarantine restrictions, Europe Day activities will be mostly held online.
The celebrations started on 9 May on the EU Delegation’s page on Facebook. The show ‘Good European Morning, Ukraine!’ will be broadcasted everyday day until 15 May at 10:00 am. Matti Maasikas, EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Jean-Erik de Zagon, Head of the EIB Office for Ukraine, Serhiy Lazanovskyi, the winner of the 11th season of ‘The Voice’ and others will be among the guests. The show will be hosted by Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Nika Konstantynova.
Simultaneously, competitions and surveys will be held on the EU Delegation’s page on Instagram.
Europe Day celebrations will also include a free online festival of European cinema EUFF 2021 that will be held from 7 to 13 June. The movies will be screened in original languages with Ukrainian subtitles. In addition to the main programme, viewers will have access to a selection of eight short films about climate change and environmental issues.
