EU launches new website showcasing partnership in Azerbaijan and announces press contest

The European Union has launched a new website – www.eu4azerbaijan.eu – which provides detailed information on 131 EU-funded projects active in Azerbaijan.

In addition to detailed project information, the website features an interactive map showing the impact of EU supported actions throughout the country.

The EU4AZERBAIJAN.EU website opens the world of partnership. It presents in pictures, numbers and words the plenitude of implemented and ongoing projects aimed to help people. Visit, explore, benefit and give us your feedback! Let’s partner together for the better future, for Azerbaijan!” said Kestutis Jankauskas, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

The website will provide regular news updates on projects, as well as a list of opportunities available via EU funding in both Azerbaijani and English.

Together with the website launch, the EU also announced a press contest for the Azerbaijani print, TV/radio and web media for content related to the EU-Azerbaijan cooperation with the goal of raising public awareness on EU-Azerbaijan relations, European Union support and its impact on the daily lives of people in Azerbaijan.
