Online conference on how local authorities in Ukraine are coping with the aftermath of war – join on 29 March


On 29 March, an online conference on how local governments in Ukraine are coping during a time of war will bring together Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko and other Ukrainian and European mayors.

The conference ‘Local Governments Unite for Welfare and Peace’ is organised by the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance of the Council of Europe.

Participants will include representatives of local governments, including twin cities of Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, foreign media, and local government leaders from Ukraine.

The conference will be live broadcast on the Facebook pages of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Council of Europe Programme ‘Enhancing Decentralisation and Public Administration Reform in Ukraine’, ‘Decentralization’, the Association of Ukrainian Cities, and the Association of Amalgamated Hromadas
