“All these 30 years, the European Union has looked with optimism and confidence in the future of the Republic of Moldova as a partner and friend state,” the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova said in a congratulatory message on its Facebook page to mark the occasion of the 30th anniversary of country’s independence.
“The future is in the hands of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Whether at home or abroad, they all share the problems of today and hope for a better life. They work together for the sake of a united country – beautiful, unique, prosperous and so hospitable,” the message said.
The EU Delegation to Moldova underlines that “the past 30 years have shown that being independent doesn’t mean being alone,” adding: “An independent country can confidently follow the path of development and prosperity together with its partners.”
