Civil review of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Belarus: trends since 2016


This alternative report on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Belarus was prepared by Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s Office with the participation of experts and representatives of civil society. The authors of the report analyzed the current situation in the field of each of the 17 SDGs and prepared recommendations for the state and civil society on how to achieve them. The review contains a section on SDG 5: GENDER EQUALITY. This section includes subsections: Trends and achievements since 2016, Violence against women and girls, Gap in life expectancy at birth, Political representation of women, Labor market, as well as Civil society recommendations for the implementation of SDG 5.

The Civil Review was presented in July 2022 at the UN High-Level Political Forum.
