EFSE and AraratBank team up to support Armenian MSMEs with new financing

The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) provided AraratBank with a five-year, USD 10 million credit line to finance micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Armenia.

Priority will be given to businesses most affected by economic, social and security problems caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine.

This mechanism will allow MSMEs continued access to financing, which will help them maintain their operations, despite logistical challenges.

Thanks to this, AraratBank will be able to further increase its outreach and scale of operations by issuing over 700 new sub-loans with longer-term maturities.
