This second EU4Youth Achievements Report brings together an overview of the work performed under the EU4Youth programme in the period 2018-2020. The year 2020 marked the EU4Youth programme in particular ways. On the one hand, the year saw the start of four new large grant projects. At the same time, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the Eastern Partnership region hard, with a clear impact on the development of EU4Youth activities. Despite all the difficulties encountered, this report shows that the EU4Youth programme has been successful in changing the lives of young people in the Eastern Partnership region by helping and assisting them individually, but also in working on more systemic levels through policy dialogue with national authorities. The report also presents some interesting results and top key achievements of the EU4Youth programme as well as tells success stories from the region.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
