#SevanTalks: EU to highlight challenges faced by unique lake in Caucasus

The EU-funded ‘EU4Sevan’ project has launched an awareness-raising campaign #SevanTalks, aimed at informing people about the environmental problems and challenges faced by Lake Sevan, and to involve the society in their solution.

The campaign will promote the restoration and preservation of the lake’s eco-balance and its sustainable use.
You can follow the campaign on Instagram and Facebook here.

‘EU4Sevan’ was launched in March 2021 to protect the largest freshwater lake in the Caucasus region and the most significant source of freshwater, irrigation water, aquaculture, as well as hydropower in Armenia. The project’s overall budget is €5.7 million, co-funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
