European Union and UNDP promotes inclusivity in vocational education in Azerbaijan

On 12 November, the European Union, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the State Agency on Vocational Education (SAVE) of Azerbaijan launched country’s first ever training programme on inclusive vocational.

The programme, promoting inclusion in the vocational education and introducing modern approaches in this area, has been developed with the support of the EU-funded ‘VET for the Future’ project.

The first three-day programme took place in Baku and provided teachers from the vocational education centres in Baku, Ganja, Sheki, Jalilabad, and Lankaran, with the knowledge and skills to use a disability awareness toolkit in vocational education.
