EU NEIGHBOURS east launches news digests on EU support for Ukraine

For Europe Day this year, EU NEIGHBOURS east has launched a new series of EU news digests together with ICTV Ukraine and their flagship programme “Facty Tygnya” (Факти Тижня or Facts of the Week), which is aired on the Ukrainian national TV marathon. The first episode was broadcast on 8 May.

The main goal of the five EU-focused episodes – which will air on Sundays in May and June –  is to raise awareness among Ukrainian audiences of the EU’s all-round support to Ukraine on different levels. The episodes focus on showcasing repurposed EU programmes in action, interview EU experts, explain opportunities under EU support and feature human stories and official inter-government events. All the news and stories on EU support to Ukraine are also available on the StandWithUkraine page.

The EU will continue to offer strong political, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and impose hard-hitting sanctions against Russia and those complicit in the war. Visit the official EU solidarity with Ukraine webpage here.
