Bringing Victory Together: EU-supported online campaign brings together stories on civic solidarity in Ukraine during war

An online campaign by the EU Delegation in Ukraine, ‘Bringing Victory Together’ (#UAPeremoha), has gathered dozens of stories from the EU Network (Мережі ЄС) of Euroclubs, Libraries, Volunteer and Humanitarian centres that help Ukrainian defenders, displaced people, families with children, the elderly and all those affected by war.

The EU Network participants help the military and the displaced persons, collect money for necessary items, donate food, hygiene products and medicines to treat the wounded. They also involve children who have seen the war at first hand in creative events and workshops.

For example, one story highlights the work of the humanitarian headquarters based at Team Europe Mykolaiv’s ‘Business Support Centre’, which has been actively supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard of Ukraine and the Territorial Defence Forces since the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion. The centre provides the fighters with first aid kits, sleeping bags, night vision equipment and other necessary items. In addition, the headquarters team has delivered and distributed over 350 tonnes of clean drinking water, over two tonnes of medicines, food and hygiene kits to the war-affected people of Mykolayiv.
