EU4Youth to host National Conference on legislative framework for Social Entrepreneurship in Ukraine

Social entrepreneurship is not yet incorporated in Ukraine’s national legislation. Nevertheless, more than a thousand social enterprises are already active in the field, accounting for 0.08% of the country’s GDP. The growing phenomenon of social entrepreneurship needs an explicit legal base to provide growth and guarantee the sustainable long-term development of social enterprises in the country.

Based on the current situation, one of the priorities of the EU4Youth  EUnlocking project is to establish the legal framework for social entrepreneurship in Ukraine. In this context, the project will organise a National Conference on Social Entrepreneurship on 11 March 2021, which will promote the prospective legal framework for social entrepreneurship in Ukraine. The event will be organised in a hybrid format.

The project invites social entrepreneurs, young people, experts, local governments, NGOs and other interested companies, organisations and individuals to participate in the National Conference.
