Moldova Youth Civil Society: for a stronger youth civil society

Project Description
The project "MYCS: for a stronger youth civil society" is implemented by Terre des hommes Foundation Moldova in partnership with the Foundation for Civil Society Development (FDSC) in Romania and the Partnership for Development Centre (CPD) in Moldova and funded by the European Union. The project aims to strengthen the capacities of local civic actors in the youth field to provide inclusive and sustainable youth participation and empowerment programmes and services.
Specific Objective
1. Empower youth civil society organisations (CSOs) to better identify needs and design qualitative, inclusive and resilient youth participation services and programmes.
2. Support CSOs and informal youth groups to deliver services, promote sustainable youth participation and mobilise communities.
3. Create an enabling environment for better participation, collaboration and learning between CSOs, local authorities and young people.
Expected Results
1. 25 youth CSOs from Moldova will have strengthened capacities to better identify the needs of young people and design services and programmes for qualitative, inclusive and resilient youth participation.
2. At least 10 local actions focusing on service delivery, promoting sustainable youth participation and community mobilisation will be facilitated through the grant scheme.
3. Functioning mechanisms for collaboration and learning between relevant youth actors.
