Yelyzaveta has a background in international relations, law and European affairs. She holds her bachelor degree from the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), and a Master’s degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe (Belgium/Poland), as well as she is currently obtaining an LLM in International and European Law at Ghent University (Belgium). Yelyzaveta is a volunteer and a project manager in civic engagement, European affairs, Eastern Partnership, political and legal affairs. Yelyzaveta received scholarships from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kharkiv (Ukraine) and the Polish government and won grants for study and international exchanges from Ghent University and the US Department of State. In addition, she has over three years of work experience and research in law, politics and international relations in NGOs, law firms and even international organisations such as the Council of Europe.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
