I am currently involved in the establishment of the first and only Ukrainian Transatlantic Platform and am actively engaged as a second-year YEA in the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ initiative. I spent my last semester doing a European Studies programme at the University of Latvia. Before that, I spent a month as an intern at the Center for International Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, researching self-proclaimed separatist entities in the post-Soviet space. Since my first year of university, I have been engaged in the activities of the IIR Debate Club, becoming a mentor this year. I have also organised several events throughout my alma mater, namely “UN Talks”, Model UN simulations and conferences, among others. I believe that the models of communication established through the YEAs’ initiative lead to deeper and stronger connections with people, making the promotion of EU values and opportunities much more efficient. That is why I gladly took this opportunity on board last year and will continue to do my best.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
