Veranika holds a BA and an MA in World Economy from the Belarusian State University. During her undergraduate studies, Veranika spent one year studying business management at Hochshule Mitweida in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. She was a member of the KAS-Martens Centre Discussion Club and a DAAD University Summer Course scholar. In 2017-2021 Veranika worked as a programme assistant and later as an administrative coordinator at the Minsk Dialogue Council on International Relations, a geopolitically unbiased platform for research and discussion on international affairs and security in Eastern Europe. Her main research interests include Belarus-EU and Belarus-Germany relations, as well as EU’s foreign policy towards EaP countries.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
