Sopiko Bzarashvili graduated with honours from the Bachelor’s program in International Relations with a focus on Europe and the Middle East. Now she is a master’s student at Ilia State University where she studies Political Science. During her Bachelor’s studies in Tbilisi, she volunteered at the Georgian National Library, Georgian Sustainable Development Association, and Civic Education Teachers Forum. She is a young professional and has been working at International Maarif Schools Georgia since 2019. Sopiko published numerous articles related to Georgia and Turkey. She took part in many conferences and she is actively involved in non-formal education activities. Sopiko speaks Turkish and English and has a beginner level of French.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
