She is also an active member of Euroclub Oshakan, is extremely interested in volunteering and she always engages in community activities. In the future, she wants to become an accountant and considers being an active citizen very important.

Meri is a young and enthusiastic up and coming leader from Armenia, who graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Service at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences in 2021, specializing in Service. Over the years, she has built up considerable life skills and experiences that have enabled her to become a competent and efficient young leader. She has a great passion for music, photography, and motion design. She believes art can serve as a force for social change, and can shine a spotlight on the truth, create moments of joy, and inspire people to act.

Vika Hovsepyan

Vika is studying at the Faculty of Public Relations at Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences. She is also a volunteer for “Yeghvard”, a youth-ecological non-governmental organisation (NGO), the beneficiary of the “The Access” micro scholarship programme and a participant in many local and international educational projects. She is excited to be a YEA and is looking forward to the opportunities this initiative will bring.

Ashot Hayrapetyan

Ashot is a Business Management student at the Armenian-Russian (Slavic) State University. He is currently taking part in the “European Solidarity Corps” volunteering project in Hungary, focused on the topic of non-formal education in English. Ashot speaks three foreign languages: English, Chinese and Russian, and is fond of travelling and discovering new cultures and traditions. He also likes reading books and listening to podcasts about psychology, self-development, business management and human relations.

Anna Hakobyan

Anna graduated from secondary school and plans to continue her studies with a degree in aerospace engineering. She is interested in photography and enjoys creating unique pictures with a distinct focus on light play. Anna is an eco-activist who is passionate about changes and development worldwide and believes the YEA initiative will help her share her passions with the world.

Seda Hakobyan

Seda is a young professional and a graduate of the Armenian-Russian (Slavic) State University, specialising in International Relations. She is currently doing a two-month internship at the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. She has good analytical skills and is passionate about politics. Her main rule in life is to always be open to new challenges and learning prospects, and she considers the YEA initiative to be the next challenge and learning prospect in her life.

Seda Grigoryan

Seda Grigoryan is studying for a Bachelor of Arts at the American University of Armenia. She is a youth worker, volunteer, and student ambassador at her university, and actively participates in many international and local youth projects. She is the co-founder of the “Youth Community” non-governmental organisation (NGO), which aims to promote youth engagement in community development. Seda’s professional interest lies in the field of international growth.

Edvard Grigoryan

Edvard is a student at the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University and is currently the Vice President of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Yerevan. He did his own Erasmus mobility at Masaryk University (Masarykova Univerzita) in the Czech Republic. Edvard is trying to combine the potential of creative and educated youth, by surrounding himself with positive and productive people to overcome all obstacles standing in the way of his nation’s prosperity.

Ani Ghulinyan

Ani is in her final year at Yerevan State University, studying Political Sciences, currently working on her thesis. She studied journalism as her other specialisation and is now working as a freelance documentalist and journalist for Armenian and regional media outlets. She also excels at investigative journalism, videography, and filmmaking, and hopes to further develop these skills within the YEA initiative.

Shoghik Ghazaryan

Shoghik is studying Biology at Yerevan State University and has also participated in an Erasmus+ academic exchange programme as part of her course, which was the experience of a lifetime, both personally and professionally. She is currently working at the Institute of Molecular Biology. Besides science, she is also interested in youth work, psychology, and music.

Lucy Gharibian

Lucy is a secondary school student and a member of the Public Council on the Rights of Children and Youth adjunct to the Human Rights Defender of Armenia. She is an active volunteer and an active citizen, interested in a variety of topics but is particularly passionate about psychology and music. In the future, she aspires to be a psychologist.

Lina Galstyan is a secondary school student and an active volunteer in her town. She is a hard-working and determined person, participating in different local and regional organisations, trying to help her community and make it a better place to live. She is actively taking part in many volunteering programmes, such as the European Youth Parliament (EYP) and EducationUSA, among many others. She is excited to be a part of this new programme – the YEA initiative – and hopes it will give her new opportunities to develop her skills and talents.

Gayane Davtyan

Gayane is studying Sociology at Yerevan State University, specializing in both qualitative and quantitative research. She is an active individual, a feminist, and a poet, who inspires by volunteering in international and national non-governmental organisations (NGOs). She is looking forward to what the YEA initiative will bring and the new opportunities and challenges it will offer.

Manush Charchyan

Manush graduated from Yerevan State College of Humanities as an English-German translator and is going to continue her education in the US. She has been an active volunteer for almost 5 years and has participated in several local and international programmes. She is a Development Intern at UNESCO, as well as a Secretariat Member at the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia. Manush loves her homeland and is ready to invest all she can in its development.
