Saira Khan currently is in her penultimate year of studying for a dual degree of Law at Business at University College Dublin. While gaining an education in the Irish Legal System she also enjoys studying international law such as Human Rights and Public International Law. She will be going to Milan on Erasmus in January for a semester and is really looking forward to it. She loves learning new languages, travelling and watching movies. She enjoys volunteer consulting for local businesses and NGO’s and would like to work in the realm of public policy.

Matilde Fabrizio

Matilde is a student in Political Science and International Relations at the Cesare Alfieri University of Florence. She is currently in Paris where she is living the Erasmus+ experience at Sorbonne University. Matilde’s dedication to international affairs goes far beyond a simple passion and interest in her studies; thanks to the many experiences she had abroad, she has always felt part of a community much larger and broader than just that of her home country. Irina Šebeko

Irina Šebeko holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration. She decided to continue her studying journey and is doing an MBA in International Business at the University of Latvia. Irina started her career in bank operations back in 2019 and is working in this field now. Participation in various Erasmus+ projects (studies, internships and youth exchanges) brought Irina a lot of new knowledge, new friends from different parts of the world and a culture-sharing experience. Joanna Bagadzińska

Joanna is a PhD student at the University of Warsaw. She completed with Honours her Master’s degree in European Studies and Bachelor’s degree in European Law. During her studies, she was the President of the European Law Students Scientific Association ‘Europa Concors’. She participated in the European Youth Event in 2018. Her research interests focus on the protection of minority rights, international relations in the post-Soviet area, and European Union foreign policy. Whenever possible, she travels and meets new people.

Afonso Morango

Originally from Portugal, Afonso Morango completed a Bachelor’s in International Relations at the University of Porto and a minor in European Studies at the University of Maastricht. Currently, he is pursuing a Master´s in Development and International Cooperation at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management. Afonso is deeply passionate about the European Project and vehemently believes that the European Union is a truly suis generis area in the world.

Rezo Meshveliani

Rezo Meshveliani is a high school student interested in diplomacy, economics, law, international politics, and philosophy. He has completed Kant’s Academy’s Effective Communications and Personal Coaching and Success Strategies programs. He is the president of the school’s Student Council and has organized numerous events and activities that are helpful for students’ personal development. He is a member of American Corner’s All About America initiative. Rezo has participated in various charity activities such as C.O.A.T., volunteered to help children with disabilities in Tbilisi, and attended events such as MUN and International Day. He speaks Georgian, English, Spanish, and French.

Laura Serrano Folguera

Laura is currently doing an internship at the OECD in the field of financing Sustainable Development and International Cooperation. Alongside her studies in Economics, she has always been a proactive young activist advocating for a more united, fairer and greener world. She has been highly involved in initiatives concerning the Sustainable Development Goals through AIESEC as well as European Affairs through JEF Europe and the initiative EU Youth Dialogue, run by the Spanish Youth Council. Laura is very passionate about travelling and seeing the world through the eyes of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Amila Alidzanovic

Amila Alidzanovic holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is currently studying for the Master of Science degree in European Affairs at Lund University in combination with courses in the Russian language. Her interest in the EU started in 2017 after completing the Euroscola program at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The interest grew exponentially over the years, especially for the geopolitical dynamics between the EU and China in the Western Balkans. Cătălina Ceban

Cătălina holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations awarded by the Uniwersytet Warszawski (University of Warsaw). She is currently enrolled on a Master’s degree program in Security and Strategic Studies at the same institution, and further engages with her subject area through participation in a variety of events such as the CyberSec Forum, the Warsaw Security Forum, while also being a member of the Women in International Security network. Patrícia Raposo

Patrícia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and is currently taking a Master’s degree in International Relations. During her studies she also developed an interest in Anthropology, Asian Studies, and Eastern Europe, where her Erasmus+ experience at the University of Bucharest played an important role. She was also an intern at two observatories in Lisbon and one NGO. In her free time, she likes to explore music from all over the world.

Adrien Chanteloup

Adrien Chanteloup studied Philosophy, Political Science and is currently following a program of Master’s in Rural Development and Natural Resources Management At the Swedish University of Agricultural sciences. He holds a bachelor’s in Philosophy and another one in Political Sciences from the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (France) and also made an exchange at the St-Joseph University of Beyrouth (Lebanon) while finishing both bachelors. In 2021, he decided to join the YEAs in order to pursue his commitment to getting more and more involved in different projects to face climate change more efficiently and more collectively.

Ebba is originally from Sweden but is residing in Valencia, Spain, where she is a student of International relations at the European University of Valencia. David Bauer

David Bauer is a postgraduate student with a background in International Relations, Politics and Area Studies. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford, where he specialises in post-conflict and post-socialist nation-state building, socioeconomic transition and transitional justice across CEE. David has previously worked in and with the non-governmental sector in the region, focusing on minority and migrant rights.

Gonçalo Aguiar

After having travelled through several countries the interest for international affairs has always been part of Gonçalo’s life and that has led him to choose his area of studies, International Relations of which he is in the second year of his Bachelor degree at the University of Lisbon. He will proceed his studies in Slovenia at the University of Ljubljana through the Erasmus+ programme. His interests are history, conflict management, international security, and political theory. He has been volunteering since a young age and plans to continue doing it on an international level.
