Vittorio Cascone

Vittorio is a young student of Law at Libera Università Internazionale degli studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS). Vittorio has always had an interest in youth policies, especially while cooperating with his local Mayor. He has been engaged in volunteering in a variety of local organisations and charities. He has always had a passion for travelling and the opportunity of the Erasmus+ in the first semester of 2022 opened for him new horizons to become involved in projects of the European Union. Vittorio looks forward to continuing this work in his role as a Young European Ambassador.

Michele D’Orazio

Michele is in his third-year of a Bachelor degree, majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. He considers that cooperation is strength, and diversity is a source of wealth. He would like to work in the European Diplomatic Corps because he loves becoming familiar with new cultures, travelling, and meeting new people. Michele knows it may be taken for granted, but these three things turn him into a different person every time ‘he gets in contact with them’. Michele looks forward to advancing his career through positive contribution in his role as a Young European Ambassador.

Ileana Di Martino

Ileana is passionate about Eastern European countries. Indeed, she is looking forward to completing her Master’s degree in Eastern European studies and research. Ileana is currently performing a traineeship in Tbilisi for the European integration of Georgia. In her spare time, she travels as much as possible, enjoys the beautiful mountains of her country as well as its very famous cuisine – khinkali!

Elisa De Siati

Elisa is a graduate student of the Università degli studi di Trento (University of Trento), specialising in International Studies with Politics and International Organisations. During her bachelor degree studies, she had the pleasure of living in both the UK and Germany. Since September 2021 she has been enrolled on a Joint Master’s Degree programme in International Security Studies at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa), with the School of International Studies of the University of Trento. Alessandro Marcia

Alessandro is an Assistant Professor in European Union Law. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Università degli studi di Bologna (University of Bologna) and an LL.M. in EU law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels). Alessandro is also an activist and content creator and speaks Italian, English and French. His teaching activities cover all the relevant areas of EU law, though Alessando’s expertise entails the EU crisis response, soft law, EU Constitutional law, the Rule of Law and the protection of fundamental (especially LGBTIQ+) rights within the European Union.

Prodromos Tzounopoulos

Prodromos is an undergraduate student of International and European Studies at the Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας (University of Macedonia) in Thessaloniki, Greece. Prodromos, having been selected by the Council of Europe, was the Youth Delegate from Greece to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the CoE for the year 2022. He is a founding member and the current President of “Dialogue of Youth Kavala – Local Youth Network”, a local youth organisation in Kavala, Greece, and a member of the Municipal Youth Council of Kavala. Prodromos loves music, travelling, meeting new people, and exploring the world.

Anastasia Papapetrou

Anastasia is an undergraduate student at the Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο Κοινωνικών & Πολιτικών Επιστημών (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences), in the Department of Public Administration, majoring in Economics. At the same time, she is the SDG Campus Coordinator at Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences and has also been elected to the Organising Committee of SDSN Youth Greece. Achilles Tsirgis

Achilles combines political activism with theoretical studies of International and European Relations at the Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς (University of Piraeus), Greece. He has cultivated a European Identity that urged him to become part of an engaged political community at the European level, and the network of Young European Federalists (JEF). Vincent is a 3rd year Global Studies student at Maastricht University. His research focuses on crisis management, security policies and youth engagement. He writes regularly for student-led magazines in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Moritz Clauder

Moritz is a second-year student, studying political sciences at the Freie Universität in Berlin with a focus on Europe, the European Union, and Eastern Europe.Through his role as a Young European Ambassador, he also serves as the co-coordinator of the Dialogue Initiative EU-Ukraine Working Group which enables EU, UK, and Ukrainian Young European Ambassadors to work together in organising joint events, projects, and campaigns to raise awareness about EU-Ukrainian relations and Ukraine’s fight against russian imperialism.

Jule Dreßler

  • Current residence: Germany, Lüneburg
Last year she spent one year volunteering with the European Solidarity Corps in Akhaltsikhe, Georgia. That’s also where Jule started to be interested in the EU and its relations with the eastern partnership countries. She is interested in Gender equality, human rights, and Climate change. That’s also the reason for her studying environmental science at Leuphana University, in Germany. Whenever you cannot find her at home, Jule is outside in nature, hiking or relaxing or she is travelling around Europe, collecting new experiences and memories.

Frederik Urban

Frederik Urban is currently studying in the last year of his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Slavic Studies at the University of Erfurt in Germany. After finishing school he spent one year in Armenia during his European Voluntary Service. During his studies, he had the chance to visit almost all the other Eastern Partnership countries as part of internships or traveling. Apart from that, Frederik is engaged in different NGOs and is organizing his own Erasmus+ projects. His academic and professional interests concern Security Studies, international cooperation and international relations as well as post-Soviet countries.

Erik Romera Tiedemann

Erik is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz, Germany. He has been highly involved in youth activism and all things European for some time, representing his university at the “EU Careers Ambassador” initiative and advocating for a federal Europe as part of the ‘Young European Federalists’. As a Young European Ambassador, he aims to spread more awareness in the EU about the significance of the Eastern Partnership and its participating countries.

Dominik Sujka

Driven by a strong belief in interdisciplinary approaches, Dominik is simultaneously pursuing a B.A. in Political Science/Sociology as well as a B.A. in Eastern European Studies/Philosophy at Heidelberg University. After exploring his own Polish heritage, he claims that the way to re-ignite our all passion towards the European project is to continuously surprise ourselves with the twisted interconnections we all share with each other. Even then, all this effort would be in vain, if it was not specifically directed at people outside the academic realm. Therefore, he regularly partakes in projects that address youth participation, capacity-building, and political education.

Lisa Menetrier

Lisa pursues a bachelor’s degree in English and French law at the Queen Mary University of London – Paris 1 Sorbonne. Her main interest lies in maritime issues and the key role seas and oceans hold in European dynamics. She actively takes part in volunteering projects such as the European Youth Parliament since 2020 as well as in the advocacy for human rights. Her commitment to fostering solidarity and active citizenship of young people led her to deliver the Speech to the European Youth at the France-German friendship summit in 2022. This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
