Nuray Kazimli is an 11th-grade student at Turkey Diyanet Foundation Baku Turkish Lyceum. She has demonstrated her knowledge of math by scoring high ranks from various olympiads, such as Kangaroo International Mathematical Competition, I Lotfi Zadeh Inter-School Logic Olympiad, Republic Subject Olympiads, and so on. She also participated in the Center of Economics and Social Development Internship Program during the summer of 2021. During her internship, she wrote an academic research paper on Assessment of Impacts of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Aviation Sector in Azerbaijan which was published in SSRN (Social Science Research Network). Furthermore, using her valuable experience at CESD, she later wrote another research paper on Zangazur Corridor: New Economic Development Opportunities for the Region that will be published in the Young Researcher magazine by late November. She is gaining experience by volunteering at the Education Hub Azerbaijan as an event manager and engaging in several programs of this center. At one of these programs, she exhibited remarkable performance in the realization of the Street Culture project which aimed at eliminating bias against street musicians. She is the leader of an organization where she gathers IDP women and provides them with an opportunity to learn vocational skills. After learning these skills, the women make eco-bags which Nuray successfully markets and provides IDP women with wages. Moreover, Nuray is one of the active members of the Competitive College Club. She intends to study economics in the United States of America.
