Nicolas Vande Kerckhove studied Germanic languages, Indo-European linguistics and the history of European civilization in three European countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles (Belgium), a master’s degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany) and he recently obtained his master’s degree from the College of Europe in Natolin (Poland). In 2021, he represented Belgium within the framework of the 4th ASEF Young Leaders Summit. He was working on a project to improve waste management on university campuses in Cambodia (Higher Education for Climate Action). As head of the Partnership and Impact Working Group and as EU Vice-Coordinator of the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs), he is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with other YEAs on common projects in order to develop a long-lasting cooperation and to build strong ties with young people from the Eastern Partnership countries.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
