Nazrin Gasimova holds a bachelor degree in International Relations from Baku State University. Currently, she is the Honorary Volunteer in the State Committee on the work with Diaspora. She has done an internship in the MFA of Azerbaijan and participated in several MUN conferences. Her previous experience includes being a volunteer for AIESEC as part of the Outgoing Global Volunteer Department. In addition, she has worked as an Administrative Assistant in the events organised by the EU Delegation in Baku and the Council of Europe Office in Baku. She was also Office Manager in F1, Protocol Manager in EYOF and a radio presenter in AZTV.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
