Mariia Mutel currently studies international relations at ELTE University in Budapest, Hungary. Her passion for international relations and cooperation appeared while she was a Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) student in the US. After such an insightful year, Mariia did her best to make a difference in her local community in Ukraine by organizing events and activities for the youth. She continued volunteering after she received the most prestigious scholarship from the Hungarian government and moved there to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Besides taking part in various projects, Mariia has interned at the Mostar Summer Youth Program, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at the GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, based in Slovakia, which further developed her as a professional.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
