Marianna Fakhurdinova is a Research Fellow at the New Europe Center, Kyiv based think-tank (her research interests include security policy, Ukraine-NATO relations, EU security projects). As a Young European Ambassador, she gives online lectures on Ukraine’s relations with the EU and NATO for students. She holds an MA in European Studies and a BA in International Relations and Translation (Ukrainian-English) from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Marianna is a former intern of the Ukrainian Embassy in Berlin, a graduate of the Guildhall School of International Journalism, and NATO Professional Development Program “YOUNG UA”. She is a co-organizer of the youth mentorship program “14:35” (an initiative of the Ukrainian Youth Delegates to the UN) and a mentor within the youth development program “10:11”.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
