Mariam is a second-year student of the Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (Euro-Atlantic concentration, French language) at the Free University of Tbilisi. Business Administration is one of her fields of interest as well, she’s studying Marketing as a minor profession at Free University. Mariam’s curiosity about the EU and its values began at the age of 14, while she was participating in the exchange program at Sosnowiec, Poland. She’s captivated by the idea of meeting young people from different cultures and historic backgrounds, united and driven towards the same goals and values, who truly hold the power to make the world a better place.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
