Mariam is studying for a Bachelor degree in Governance and Social Sciences at the Free University of Tbilisi. She has also been actively volunteering outside her studies and is a member of the charitable foundation “Revolution of Kindness” based in her hometown. She is also an alumnus of the European School Summer Camp 2022. In addition, she was part of the Youth Parliament in her town and has been actively involved in civic life. Mariam is also interested in diplomacy, and thinks it is a crucial element in the preservation of peace. She believes that the youth of today are an essential part of society – the path that leads the world to a better future. She also believes the YEA initiative will give her the opportunity to bring fundamental changes and improve the quality of life in her hometown and country.
