Currently, she is doing an internship at the Department of Student Affairs at Ilia State University. Her main responsibility is to assist in the day-to-day activities of the department aiming at youth engagement and student participation. She is highly motivated to engage in various types of competitions, training sessions, and courses. She is a member of The EU4Youth Alumni Network. Maia has participated in a youth exchange project in Denmark. She is an entrepreneur, and she has recently received a SEED GRANT for her small business. She believes that non-formal education can contribute to the development of civil society by helping participants become outstanding and active members of society.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
