Lasha Meladze studied for two years on an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program funded by the EU. After completion, he got accepted to Tbilisi State University and is currently doing bachelor’s degree in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology. Apart from this, he is also interested in other STEM subjects such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, etc. and is actively trying to be up to date with all the news regarding different areas of knowledge. During his time with Young European Ambassadors, since Fall 2018, he had many opportunities to participate in different social and educational activities and campaigns (Red Cross, TUMO and ESSC camps, etc.) as well as attend many interesting training sessions (about Covid-19, disinformation, etc.). He is motivated to be even more engaged in upcoming events to be able to better support youth awareness and help promote their engagement.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
