Katsiaryna graduated from European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania) where she studied International law and European Union law. She loves everything related to the EU and has taken part in dozens of educational activities all over Europe, including her semester abroad with Erasmus+ in Porto, Portugal. She was also provided with a DAAD grant to take part in the summer course on the European system of Human Rights protection, where she was able to attend leactures by professors from Austria, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, etc. Katya has also attended several simulations called Model European Union and since September 2020 she has been involved in the activities of the youth-led NGO BETA Europe, which promotes MEU concepts, as a member of its Think Tank division.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
