Kateryna Martyniuk holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and studying for Master’s degree in International Communication in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In 2020, she was elected as a delegate to the Model European Parliament in Brussels and a delegate to the Political Congress. Participated in Diplomatic Euroschool in Hungary and the UN Model. She did an internship in an English company in a position of digital marketing manager and was an intern as a PR and communication assistant. In 2018 she have been a coordinator of Youth capital of Ukraine contest aiming to strengthen communication and cooperation between youth and regional state authorities.
Moreover she was an assistant to the Deputy and now she is a member of the Youth Council of Ukraine. During the Erasmus+ youth exchange, in Spain, she initiated an environmental project to raise young people’s awareness of climate issues.
She defended diploma thesis about the impact of the Eastern Partnership initiative on the intensification of European integration processes in Ukraine and continue to conduct research on the role of the European Neighborhood Policy in the Eastern European region.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
