Heyran is an ambitious bachelor’s degree student majoring in Economics at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. She has been actively volunteering in the organization of various projects, events, and training. She has been working with governmental and non-governmental organisations on raising awareness about UN Sustainable Development Goals and mainly about achieving gender equality in local & global society. Currently, she is a project manager at the Azerbaijani Women in Science (AWIS) organization which aims to eliminate gender barriers, strengthen equality values and help young ladies from the regions of the country broaden and develop their knowledge and build their career paths.
