Gullu is in her third year of studies of International Relations at Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti (Azerbaijan University of Languages). Her main interest areas are gender equality and environmental protection. She was accepted to two summer schools, one being the Turin School of Regulation in Italy, another was Conflict School on peacebuilding and conflict resolution funded by the Eurasian Partnership Forum and the European Union. She is currently volunteering at AIESEC and Mars on Earth Project as well as being a member of AEGEE – European Students’ Forum.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
