Gayane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Cross-Cultural Communications and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Brusov State University in Yerevan, Armenia along with a full scholarship. With the knowledge gained at the university, she is actively trying to combine both cultural and political features in her studies which revolve around European foreign policy, with a focus on the European Neighbourhood Policy visible through her extracurricular activities and interests she pursues, as well as the EU-Armenia Relations.
Her main mission is to develop herself by meeting and communicating with people of different nations and values. Armenia is a small country with lots of opportunities and ambitions where young enthusiasts as her are trying to make it a better place for everyone. Being a YEAs is a huge responsibility and the best opportunity to evolve as a person, a citizen, and a key player who aims to make positive changes in her homeland.
This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
