Enrico Izzo is a graduate with a Master of Science in Business Administration and a passion for European development and international cooperation. He worked at the center of European policy making, with the European Commision, at the Directorate Generale for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO) and now, he continues to support humanitarian projects with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. He started to nourish his passions during his studies, attending a double bachelor’s degree in Italian and French, studying in Rome, Rio de Janeiro and Paris. He extended his time in Paris with an Erasmus Traineeship taking up the mission to fight food waste and implement a circular economy model working with the start-up Love Your Waste. He is a firm believer that entrepreneurship helps young people to develop new skills and experiences promoting innovation and resilience, for this reason he co-founded a startup with a competitive team that won several start-up competitions. For a decade, he has been volunteering and taking part in non-profit activities, getting engaged with local and European civil society organisations.
