Aytaj is currently working towards a Bachelor degree in International Relations at the Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti (Azerbaijan University of Languages). Throughout her studies, Aytaj has worked in many events and organisations as a volunteer, such as ASAN service, DOST agency, Formula 1, EYOF, ASYOU, etc. in order to develop the necessary soft skills and qualities in different fields. She has worked as an International Programs Assistant at the European Academy of Diplomacy which is the first non-governmental, non-for-profit diplomatic academy in Europe, with a mission of shaping, sharpening and inspiring a new generation of enlightened international leaders. Aytaj is presently an intern at United Nations Azerbaijan and gaining valuable experience.

As a Young European Ambassador, Aytaj endeavours to make a positive change and contribute to the development of youth policies in Azerbaijan. She was also selected for the 2021 board to work as a Deputy National Focal Point at EU Neighbours East.
