Ana Hîrbu is an Economics graduate from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, with the experience of studying Business Administration at the University of Liechtenstein. As a student she has been substantially involved in volunteering activities, international conferences, exchanges and internships. She received the Government Scholarship of the Czech Republic and is following the Master’s studies in Finance and Accounting at the University of Economics in Prague, being also the holder of the Government Scholarship of the Republic of Moldova. She wants to contribute to the development of a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. During her studies Ana increased the awareness regarding the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility by addressing the topic of sustainability and focusing her work on the importance of developing a sustainable mindset through educational programmes, because she believes that knowledge is power and the moment we combine knowledge and commitment we generate the change.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
